A letter from the Executive Principal, Mrs. Cathy Van Ness:

    Dear Parents:

The first week of school has been exciting for everyone. Our kids are doing a great job of building relationships with their teacher and new friends and practicing the foundations for learning and leading!

We would like to take this time to share our arrival and dismissal procedures.

In order to maintain the safety and security of our children and the staff, our front door will open at 7:15 a.m. and students will be greeted at the front door as well as a curbside greeting. Please remember to have your child exit the car in the lane closest to the school on the passenger side of the car. We have plenty of staff on hand to help guide them to their classrooms as they learn this new level of independence.

All students are considered tardy for school after 7:30 a.m. If a child arrives to school after 7:30, parents must escort their child to the front office.

All students (except bus riders) will dismiss from the north side of the building on Winnie Street. Please have your dashboard sign prominently displayed so we can make dismissal as quick and safe as possible. If you have not received a dashboard sign, please contact your child’s teacher.

We appreciate your support and look forward to a great school year!
